Security in the digital age a panel presentation of the Independent Entrepreneur’s Council

Today’s world is a digital minefield, filled with threats from inside and outside your organization.  Addressing these threats requires a blended approach that incorporates testing and monitoring, preventive solutions and risk management.  This IEC Presentation will cover the digital threat landscape from 3 points of view.  Chris Karr, President of Uberguard will present on penetration testing and threat monitoring – finding out if you have vulnerabilities and monitoring for new ones.  Lee Drake, CEO of OS-Cubed, Inc. will present on modern threat reduction technologies such as firewalls, filters, systems management technologies, disaster recovery, as well as software security development practices for creating secure websites and software products.  Finally, Michael Montag, president of MGM Insurance will present on risk management products that can be used to offset the cost of recovering from an incident.  Between the three presenters we will cover detection, prevention and insurance.  After all short presentations, the panel will open up to questions from the audience.
